As I mentioned in my previous post, Casino Beef Week ran from May 21 to the 31st, with the big events happening during the last three days.
Next in line for my free breakfast....
Residents and visitors from all over enjoying the free beef steak and sausage sandwiches...
While enjoying my morning meal, I walked around to take a peek at some of the morning's activities... the Cow Pat Lotto, the Cow Milking competition, and I even took a photo of two beautiful and massive horses who are with the NSW Police.
And the Milking champion is......
Place your bets......
Good horsey......
The next day, the 28th of May - Saturday, the wife and I went to town to join the festivities. Along Canterbury street were amusement rides for young and old..... a Snake and Reptile Show....and a petting area for farm animals, which the kids just loved......
Slytherin would have loved this....
The wife and I then went inside the Casino Civic Hall for the Dot Robson Craft market......
Turning left at Walker St., we looked at some beautiful vintage automobiles.....
The wife with a young cowboy and cattle owner....
We missed the wood chopping competition but saw a bit of the cattle auction going on......
Chopped wood....
Cattle being prepped for auction.....
The first one to be auctioned.....
And soon after, the Casino Beef Week Street Parade ...
Casino Beef Week Queen Georgie King
Brenda and her Mini Moke... a crowd favourite every Beef Week....
And that's it folks.... See you at the next Casino Beef Week next year...
...and thanks for dropping by.
